WelcomeVerify™ is a North Carolina-based technology company building the next generation of identity verification for property access.
Handing over a door code is an act of trust. For most hosts it happens sight-unseen: a name on a reservation, a phone number, and hope. We built WelcomeVerify because that moment deserved better than hope.
We help property managers, short-term rental hosts, and residential communities confirm that visitors and tenants are who they say they are, quickly, legally, and with full consent. A guest verifies in about three minutes: a one-time SMS code, a government-issued ID, a Live Selfie matched to that ID, and a GPS check confirming they're actually at the property. Only then are door codes released.
Just as importantly, we built it so guests aren't asked to give up their privacy in exchange for a key. Hosts receive a pass/fail result and a signed check-in form, never the guest's ID images, selfie images, or biometric data. Guest check-in records are deleted within 48 hours. Nothing is sold, and no one is tracked.
